Honestly wouldn’t be the most egregious instance of friendly fire in history. Hitting a moving target is hard and handguns do have an accuracy issue since you can’t brace the gun with your whole arm, but I guess that’s one of the reasons body armor was invented. Still better than that time an A-10 butchered a friendly British convoy.
