Donald Trump said Sunday that if no peace deal is reached with Iran in the next 48 hours, “we’re blowing up the entire country.”
The president made the threat Sunday to ABC News’ senior political correspondent Rachel Scott in response to a question regarding whether his previously stated timeline of two to three weeks for a deal was still accurate.
Concerns have been raised about targeting civilian infrastructure in Iran and the consequences that could bring.
And when a Democratic president gets in, the Americans will be like, “Oh, but we’ve changed! We’re going to be much better now! Really!”.
It’s like a psychotic ex-boyfriend begging you to take him back, because he’s really sorry and will do better next time. Promise!
I pray the world never forgives America for all this. I certainly won’t as a Canadian. If a century of good will and allyship can get pissed down the drain in mere months, why should any nation ever trust America again?
