Hard to boycott something you’ve never considered buying. My own fashion sense is incompatible with wearing shoes more suited to a Midwestern WalMart assistant manager.
For most of my work engagements, black sneakers suffice, and on more formal occasions, I’ve got some black brogues.
I actively boycott all sorts of things, that I’ve never wanted to own. I may even have had a pair of Florsheim shoes, when I was a kid, and my parents needed me to have a ‘suit’ to dress up in, for some wedding, funeral, etc. Now that they are associated with toxic trumpy, they are as dead to me. They could take steps (pun intended) to rehab their image, the goper/maga stench is persistent.
