I broke a tooth eating at an Indian curry buffet. Shatered a tooth eating some lamb curry full of bones. Spit tooth pieces out for a moth as the breakage finished. I definitely swallowed some. Didnt taste like anything. So i figured thats normal, if not we would be constantly tasting our teeth.
So to answer this question, someone might need to taste your teeth for you.

I had a tooth shatter in my jaw (stupid wisdom teeth) and the shards tasted of nothing, so I agree. Nothingness.
You guys just don’t grind your teeth fine enough.
I mean the dentist ground down the spikes left by the shattered tooth until I could get in and get it pulled, and the dust tastes like. Well. Dust?
It’s dust yeah, but it’s a bit different than sand or sawdust. It has a slight taste to it, I wouldn’t call it outright nothing.
