It’s been obvious for some time that Americans are souring on Israel, but a Gallup poll that came out on Friday marks a turning point. For the first time in the poll’s 25-year history, it found, more Americans sympathize with the Palestinians than with the Israelis. The shift wasn’t just among Democrats, whose opinion of Israel has been in free fall in recent years. According to Gallup, only 30 percent of independents now sympathize with Israel; 41 percent sympathize with the Palestinians. Among adults under 35, support for Israel has fallen to a record low of 23 percent. With numbers like this, bipartisan backing for Israel, long a constant in American politics, will in time become unsustainable.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel famously prides himself on his ability to shape American policy. As he said in a secretly recorded 2001 conversation, “I know what America is. America is a thing you can move very easily, move it in the right direction.” Yet he has presided over an ongoing collapse in American Zionism and could eventually go down in history as the prime minister who lost Israel’s most important ally.

Israel does not have support because of bribery, I literally just said that, and you immediately said it was because of payoffs to politicians.

It’s not about fucking bribery, it’s not about payoffs, it’s ENTIRELY about geopolitics.

Your way of life only exists because Iran, Russia, China, etc. aren’t in power. If you want to give up your way of life and prefer the way they do things, go ahead and move there. I, along with most other western people, would prefer if those countries fucked right off.

kid, you wouldn’t know what geopolitics was if it hit you upside the head.

you’re a fucking 4chan idiot who hides their racism and western chauvinism behind a thin veneer of supposed intellectualism. the problem is, your takes show you don’t know what you’re fucking talking about, and you’re just repeating shit you heard Grok say because you don’t have the mental capacity to come up with your own arguments.

just take the mask off and admit you’re a MAGA nazi, because at this point the rest of us already know everything you’re going to say because we’ve hard your drivel the last time some Trump-loving piece of shit wandered in off of Truth Social.

Ah right, a few thousand dollars

not even close to the amount of dark money bribes groups like AIPAC have funneled into US politicians pockets in the last year alone. just in the 2025–2026 election cycle, AIPAC gave $28 million to members of Congress. that’s just one fucking year. you would know this if you weren’t totally uneducated on the topic you’re speaking about.

you expect to be taken seriously when you don’t even know the well-documented and public information available to anyone with access to the internet. this isn’t even the shit they hide, this is the publicly disclosed campaign contributions.

you’re a fucking joke, and you’re embarrassing yourself, MAGA.

$28 million dollars is a tiny fucking amount of money in terms of lobbying.

It’s also only about $50,000 per congress member.

For that same cycle, it was reported that the 117 Senate candidates received about 1.5 million dollars on average, and the entirety of congress races received something like $700 million. So AIPAC was less than 4% of all money.

Assuming that number is actually amounts given to congress, and not just lobbying or PAC stuff which has separate much higher totals.

Some individual races were in the 10s of millions.

Lobbying was a $5 Billion dollar industry in 2025.

How can you expect to be taken seriously when the amounts they’re spending are so small? How can these people be so completely bought by such tiny amounts? It entirely defies any sort of reason, especially given that both parties support Israel so they would have to spread it over EVERYONE for it to be effective.

you didn’t need to go that far, everyone already understood you were an idiot. your response to Israel spending billions of dollars over decades on buying politicians is “but those bribes aren’t big enough”.

It entirely defies any sort of reason

what defies reason is that you’re able to make such arguments seriously, MAGA.

If you shout MAGA enough times, I hear it summons a direct connection to the Truth.

You have no proof, your assertions aren’t backed up by any sort of actual logic.

There are groups like META who spent MORE than AIPAC in 2025, and congress is still handing them their asses, so clearly just funneling money to congresscritters isn’t sufficient to directly buy them off.
