They don’t allow other ways to post podcast content unless it’s a recap, but the commentary here is a good read or listen. Lots of great points made.
So they deported 4k and killed 2(?). That’s a .05% death ratio. If cars had that kind of lethality rate, even republicans would ban them.
Side note: my phone autocorrected republicans to terrorists and… you know… I had to think before I fixed it.
They killed way more than two. They killed two white US citizens. They’ve killed at least 9 people in custody of all kinds of demographics.
They deported American Indians. Let that one sink in.
That’s why the question mark, thank you for setting the record straight.
Yeah this whole thing is idiotic and just deeply disappointing. But that’s just putting it mildly. It must be fought. We cannot surrender the nation to hatred. It must be resisted at every turn. What they are doing is so illegal I don’t even need a court to find it illegal, I just need a copy of the constitution and YouTube.
Tomato tomato

The Daily Blast With Greg Sargent
2026 February 17Now that Donald Trump appears to be largely drawing down his violent occupation of Minneapolis, the administration is resorting to a time-honored tradition: declare victory and go home. In a bizarre interview, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt went full cult and called the operation a resounding success. But she also spun it as targeting criminals, effectively revealing that it’s no longer possible to tell the truth about Trump’s actual mass-deportation agenda. This is a moment of unusual political vulnerability for Trump and the White House on this issue. But are Democrats doing all they can to exploit it? We think they’re not. So we’re talking to Anat Shenker-Osorio, a Democratic message strategist who often argues that Democrats let polls limit their ability to exploit critical political opportunities. Anat, nice to have you on.
