“My mom was on the phone with me,” Marlene said, “and she was screaming, telling them that she was a citizen, that she was a citizen, and they just went straight to busting her window, didn’t give her a second to even put the car in park and then … she said it went downhill from there.”

The daughter added: “As soon as they … read her passport, because she’s a citizen, they just flopped her on the floor, threw her papers on the floor, and just left.”

Ah, yet another “Kavanaugh Stop” .

    Kavanaugh assured us, though, that

“U.S. citizen[s] or otherwise lawfully in the United States” would be “free to go after the brief encounter”

    There. Feel better now?

No no, you can’t call it that because Kavanaugh hates that they’re associated with him.

So do it as often as possible and remind people of it.

Free to go, maybe, but not free to go through. Plenty of property damage to pay for because fuck you and your skin color.

She has to pay for the pleasure of being stopped and abused. Insurance almost certainly won’t cover that.

Obviously a serious subject, but this quote gave me a chuckle (emphasis added):

“…didn’t give her a second to even put the car in park and then … she said it went downhill from there.”
