Israel will never be able to separate itself from this genocide. My personal belief is that a separation between church and state prevents these extremist ideologies from becoming dominant. Zionism is a white supremisist ideology that is being used by the settler colonialist state of Israel to justify the mass slaughter of the “genetically” impure. Like other supremisist ideologies Zionism references pseudoscience to claim superiority over others to justify the mass slaughter of people who do not meet their genetic or purity requirements to justify expansion and their own imperial ambitions. Zionism is no more a religion than the settler colonialist ideology that justified the genocide of the Native Americans or the fantastical and pseudoscientific ideology of the Nazis.
