The stock market basically plunged every fucking time he announced a tariff threat or plan. But yeah it’s clearly creating a booming economy to make Americans pay additional taxes to buy goods.

Since he’s such a flaming narcissist, he’s probably just thinking of the “economic miracle” of his own grifting, and he’s grifted 1.4 billion, so that’s quite a miracle indeed. For a narcissist, that’s where economics start and end - his own financial situation.

ALL of which should be seized the minute he’s gone or the minute he leaves office, by the way…

As a Canadian, I thank trump for the 33% or so returns on our national markets in 2025, and I’m sure Mexico appreciates their 48% returns. With the US returns at 12%, he’s really done a selfless favour to his neighbours.

Remember when he was asked to speak as the President of the United States to the average American, during the start of Covid? He was given the softest of softballs, that people were scared and needed reassurance. We’ve all seen the Presidents in Hollywood movies, we KNOW what you say, even if you don’t mean it or haven’t a clue.

What did Donald do? Thought of himself. “Nasty reporter. Nasty question.”

        What a failure.

Now, we are the ‘HOTTEST” country anywhere in the world!

Yes, because it’s on fire! (and he threatened, insulted and alienated all fiends and allies, I bet they won’t even pee on it to help put it out)

At this point, even if they won’t admit it, I think most people understand that economic reality is the opposite of whatever Trump says.

You underestimate how dumb right wing voters often are. I have a really hard time convincing people in my own country that just because someone says something confidently, it doesn’t mean it’s true, especially when it contradicts available data.

Trump lives in his head, where everything belongs to him, everything is because of him, and anything that doesn’t will eventually. Facts don’t matter unless they agree with what’s in his head. Besides, it’s not like he’s listening to anyone but himself.
