That looks terrible too. This is 2010 Photoshop level editing aren’t the large image models suposed to make this stuff look at least somewhat realistic.

I know that isnt important it just really stood out to me

I don’t disagree, it is disgusting. Which of my words made you think otherwise?

All of them when you “umm… ackshually we’re all primates” and ignored the context of literal centuries of white people depicting black people as monkeys to denigrate and dehumanize them.

Ah ok let me explain. As I stated earlier, humans are primates. Therefore the headline of “depicting the obamas as primates” does not begin to convey the gravity of what trump posted. A better way to phrase it is to say, as many of the more literate news outlets have done, that the Obamas were depicted as monkeys in the jungle and although this is not really accurate, as the bodies that the Obama’s heads have been superimposed upon appear to be those of great apes, (which are not monkeys, but are primates) it does more accurately convey the racist sentiment of trump’s disgusting post.

          Ackshually 👍

And yet here we are mincing words about what primate vs monkey vs whatever other taxonomy humans are biological cousins with instead of dealing with the literal racism on display.

We should be more outraged at racism than we are about which words a news outlet used to describe the racism.

I’m just glad the media called it “racist.” Not “controversial” or any other sane washing crap.
