What if our brains are just eggs that are waiting to hatch when we die? A soul hatching by exiting the brain.

    Without any transducers for sensory data into the brain would a soul hatchling be eternally trapped with no external interaction?

        You’re still getting oxygen through the umbilical blood, so no gills but still something other than lungs. So like instead of a brain the soul hatchling attaches to a clone or a robot brain or something else to haunt
