My issue with US’s relationship with Cuba is that the US doesn’t want a Russian outpost so close, yet doesn’t do anything to make the island stable enough to resist outside influence.
What they really want is to do what they did in Venezuela.
The Bay of Pigs isn’t as cute as it sounds.
Trump’s plan: make Marco Rubio governor of Cuba, the 51st state.
Is that what Guantanamo Bay is for? To beat back the Russian invasion?
Cause I remember it being used for something different
And also cutting all foreign aid in general now. Which leaves US soft power where exactly? That’s right, US is the bad guy as well now.
