Oil executives do know how much money they would have to invest in the infrastructure destroyed for over two decades in Venezuela and how it’s a losing proposition to go into the country for them. On the other hand, Donald is an idiot who does not know or care about what has happened under Chavez and Maduro to the oil industry in Venezuela and thinks he can just make money.
I had a friend whose dad was an oilman in Venezuela before Chavez, whose property was expropriated by Chavez. Oilmen know what a losing proposition going into Venezuela is. Trump, the ignoramus, doesn’t.

It’s besides the point though. The whole thing is a shit show, go after the architect of the incident, not the beneficiaries. Well, get them too, but seriously…
