I find this relevant because the main argument Trump’s been forwarding is the need to secure Greenland. This recent article, is a brief history of US military bases in Greenland.

It’s an example that if security is what they really want, USA could use easily use this format and reopen bases, or build news ones or whatever, within the current Danish-US agreement.
