For awhile it was single downvotes, but it seems that moved up to 2-3 on each comment. Even the most benign stuff gets hit, the pattern is clear.
Can I find this person and block them from seeing my posts? Never really delved into how lemmy works.

Up/down voting should just be removed. It does nothing, means nothing and only causes people to bitch. It’s annoying.
I question the sanity of anyone who gives even half a fuck about fake internet points.
It helps sort content for visibility. Unless you browse Lemmy ONLY by new, you’re benefiting from the voting system. That includes posts AND comments
