In a video, the bystander was seen running up to the attacker from behind and then grabbing the shotgun from him before pointing the weapon back at him.

A bystander hailed a hero after he tackled and disarmed one of the gunmen in the Bondi Beach shooting is a shop owner.

The man, named by a relative as 43-year-old Ahmed al Ahmed, was seen in a video running up to the attacker from behind and then grabbing the shotgun from his hands before pointing the weapon back at him.

The footage then showed the terrorist heading towards a bridge where another gunman was located, while the bystander placed the gun beside a tree.

Really wish the guy had at least shot the murderer in his hands, so he not only has to live his life out in prison, but can’t jerk off comfortably.

He was able to do what he could do. Believe me when I say that there’s absolutely a wall that most people never hit when it comes to shooting a living being, human or not. Most people never hit that wall, because they never seek out the activities that would cause you to hit that wall. I couldn’t shoot my first deer. Shooting my first human was a bit easier, as I actually shot them, but still caused hesitation. I don’t know about the second human or second animal, and I hope I never find out. Unfortunately, with the way things are going, I suspect I will have to shoot more people to survive.

I’ve heard lots of soldiers are traumatized by having to kill. WW2 has seen bloody battles where many soldiers never actually fired a rifle. It’s hard for a healthy, well adjusted human to kill another human being, and it’s supposed to be. It sucks that war forces us to go against this nature.

I will never blame someone for not killing, even when killing would have been justified, or even laudable.

Nah, I’m a stern believer of forced castration for people like this. Shoot his junk off.

That’s a regressive way of thinking. Revenge doesn’t actually feel good once you are done, it feels wrong. Put them in a rehabilitative program so that they will learn why what they did was wrong, and how much harm they did to themselves and others.

Nah, revenge feels pretty damn good.

Do the rehabilitation thing because it’s the civilised thing to do, not because it feels better. It doesn’t, we’re still violent stupid monkeys, not that deep inside.
