I have bifocals for distance and close up, but the close up is annoying for a monitor, I have to look through the bottom of the lenses meaning tilting my head to see the screen clearly.
I need one pair strictly for the monitor which also has blue light blocking capability. Those are probably the ones in his hand.
As far as the glasses in lanyards go… I dunno. Maybe for visitors who need to read a document who forgot their own reading glasses?

They are working on glasses that focus automatically depending on what you’re looking at… so maybe those will do the trick.
