It’s journalistic malpractice that the title of this article suggests the California referendum will be what tips control of Congress. Congress is tipped, the California referendum only seeks to right it.

It ain’t going to right it. It’s just going to make it less tipped toward the GOP.

The GOP is also like to gain 2-3 seats in Ohio, and 1 in Missouri with these shady midcycle redistricting efforts.

All in all, this BS will probably net the GOP 2-3 seats as it stands now.

True, but my point was more of that the referendum does not seek to give advantage to Democrats.

Perhaps naïvely, I have a small degree of hope that the overall electric being unhappy with the Republicans might actually backfire on their redistricting plans.

Democrats shitting the bed and then not only capitulating to the Republican shutdown but further negotiating away the ACA subs, hemp, and paying over $500k-Millions to multiple GOP reps, doesn’t help the momentum gained prior to a few nights ago. I hope that further emboldens voters to get out, vote against the GOP, but also vote those turncoats out on the “left”. God I’m so fucking pissed at them…
