Dave & I don’t always agree, but this was a good video. Admitting Windows coddles it’s users too much, showing why Windows lost it’s hardcore audience, and what it would take to win any of us back. (Not that that’s likely, but what it would take)

For me, no. I like the simplicity of just installed stuff. I’ve tried many distros and I always have to Google how to install stuff. And then whenever I have to use the terminal shit just break. Last time I used Linux it destroyed my ssd to where I couldn’t boot anymore

It can be, because it is huge. But I’m pretty sure it is more toxic to call something unstable because you don’t understand it than to point that fact out. Now, if you have a concrete complaint or question, I’d be happy to try and help, but stability isn’t your issue. There are machines that have been running for decades.

I didn’t call anyone unstable. It was the other way around. Just read the posts. I said I have problem with Linux. And I have for years. But then everyone attacks me over it 🤷‍♂️

Didn’t say you called anyone unstable.

I haven’t seen a stable Linux except for steam os.

What you did, was call Linux unstable. Which is just objectively untrue. I’m not attacking you. On the contrary, I generally try to be helpful about it. But what you did was say something toxic, maybe accidentally and then call others toxic for pointing that out. Bottom line, Linux isn’t unstable.

They’re right. Linux didn’t break your system, you did. Which has happened to pretty much every Linux user at some point. You can either take it as a learning opportunity or get frustrated that there are no guardrails
