A pro-MAGA website that urged supporters to fund a database unmasking Charlie Kirk critics took tens of thousands in crypto—then vanished, infuriating donors.
The site, Expose Charlie’s Murderers, launched hours after the assassination of the right-wing influencer, 31, in September. It promised a searchable trove of names and workplaces for “the largest firing operation in history,” according to Drop Site’s review of the now-offline project.
The site listed six crypto wallets and raised more than $30,000 between Sept. 12 and 14 before repeatedly going dark, resurfacing as the “Charlie Kirk Data Foundation,” and disappearing again, Drop Site reported.
Grifters gonna grift.
This is great, but it’s interesting to me that this is almost the opposite of how Trump stands, weirdly sticking his belly button forward so you can’t see how fat he is as easily.
Maybe we should start a new website to solicit donations to unmask the people who ran the previous grift site. Then, when we have a bunch of money, we close up shop and make up some bullshit about how we couldn’t find them. /s
