    shrug You’re allowed to be annoyed by anything you want, as long as you’re as clear as you were that “that’s free speech baby”.

    The point of protests is to be annoying. Whether they want to be there or not, these National Guards are an occupying force. Annoying government officials is precisely what the First Amendment protects.

      Exactly. The first amendment isn’t there to protect the speech that people like. And protests aren’t effective if you can just ignore them. The entire point of protesting is to be a problem that is big enough and loud enough that the lawmakers can’t just ignore it.
