    You’d have to be pretty dumb to vote for or endorse trump in 2016 but at least back then the excuse of “I didn’t know it would be like this” makes sense.

    Sure, he’s worse this term, but you know what he was when you supported him this time.

      They still think he was good the first time around. He pulled all the right levers and short-term supercharged an economy that took 8 years after Bush / housing crisis to really solidify which of course crashed at the first hint on instability (global pandemic and supply chain breakages)

      People blame Obama for the housing crash, even though it was in full swing when he was elected.

      Just like they blame Biden for COVID, even though it was Trump who got rid of the disease research team in China and then did shit like “if you don’t test then the numbers will be lower”, thinking biology would do some kind of democrat-genocide for him; like AIDS did for Reagan.
