Some clarification first.
I once read an article on a tattooing technique that supposedly kept the actual tattoo invisible unless the person gets flustered or the skin reddens.
From that, it was argued it made possible for people to get tattoos with very intimate placing and allure, as the patterns would only be visible under very specific conditions.
The article stated a specific pigment was used.
So… myth or truth?
You can get tattoos that are you skin tone, but they aren’t invisible, they will show up if you get flush or tan.
There also are UV tattoos that onto show up under blacklight. How visible they are varies, but there is usually a ghosting with them.
Both cases, the ink fades faster than other colors. How fast that happens depends on the person and how much sun exposure you get. You can get touch ups every 2 years to keep the UV bright, but it does muddy the tattoo the more you do that.
And then you get glowing lymph nodes!
That makes it easier to find them to check for cancer caused by microplastics.
some of my scars turn red when I’m drunk, free of charge 👍 (the scars, not the poison)
Why are you drinking poison?
That’s pretty much what alcohol is…
Because of squirrels, of course.
Probably because the poison has “useful” side effects. Or tradition.
Mine too but I always thought I was an odd thing.
I had one that, once healed, you could only see under UV light. It pushed out, can’t see it anymore.
So it just disappeared? How long did ot last? And is the same skin usable or could it resurface or reactivate the old tattoo?
My understanding of it is that your, “my”, body pushes it out. Like it just sluffs off with old skin. I believe all or most of the ink is gone.
It was a log time ago and I think it only lasted for about 6 months. My skin is fine, like it never happened, though it was very small.
Yes they do :) but they don’t last 4ever like a normal one.
Now I’m even more curious.
How long will those last? Can you expand a bit on it?
