As a trans Texan, I can tell you from firsthand knowledge that many of our highest ranking state politicians are extremely hostile to people in the LGBTQ+ community and actively want us gone one way or another. Wanting to believe the best in someone is fine in general, but know who you are advocating for. These people have a history which paints a very dystopian picture of their intentions and we don’t currently have a federal government willing to stop them. Do I think they are making literal “kill lists”? No, I don’t think we’re quite there yet, but this is a strongly indicative prelude to that extreme. If they are making a list of a group of minorities, it’s almost guaranteed it will be used for discriminatory (or flat out criminal) purposes.

I really wish we would stop using the term “deporting” for situations like this. That is not what’s happening here. “Rendition” and “exile” would be far more accurate.

And doing nothing when someone is violently assailing you seems like it would carry consequences of its own. I’m not advocating that we meet violence with murderous retribution, but when diplomacy fails and someone intends to cause you harm no matter what you do, defending yourself is the only reasonable course of action.

The vibes this guy is giving off makes me think he’s the type to walk into a Subway (the sandwich place) strapped with an assault rifle and at least one or two pistols, wearing a bulletproof vest, and drove there in an oversized pickup truck plastered with decals including “Come and take it”, “Don’t tread on me”, and the Punisher logo.

Do not accept this deal. This is the worst deal in the history of deals.

It’s uncanny to me how this little nazi has such a punchable face.

It’s a pretty scary idea when the odds are very high that we would just get murdered by police or secret service. And in this hypothetical, if we were to fail, Trump would just bring them hammer down even harder on everyone else, making future attempts much more difficult if not impossible. Until the people are organized on a large scale and collectively convinced this is the only option we have left, we have too much to lose with very little chance of success.

Trump has been talking about making Canada the 51st state, annexing Greenland, going to war with Mexican cartels, and is actively telling the military to start making a plan for taking the Panama canal by force. He clearly doesn’t give a shit about who is allowed to formally declare war, he’s pushing to make this happen regardless.

Once it gets low enough, I fully expect Agent Orange to threaten that it’s illegal to disapprove of him.

Anything is legal when you just ignore the law and make up the rules to suit your own agenda.
