ahh yes, the loophole that has non dictators absolutely flummoxed. can’t be a genocide if you don’t blow up ALL of the aid. this is just sparkling mass shooting.
huh, i guess I hadn’t heard anyone’s actual experience from it. I’ve never been myself. it’s only interesting enough for me to want to know that it exists. there is no world in which I would actually pay what it costs to go to Disney world. it’s just not my thing. I’d rather find some elk to watch frolic or some shit. that sounds when more magical. still neat to see that it’s kind of real now.
but yeah, my biases make it easy to believe that it’s all cheaper and shittier than they lead on. that sounds like what a company like Disney would do. make something that looks flashy and makes a good headline, but disappoints when in person.
thank you for sharing your experiences.
for that to be a temporary exhibit is almost crazier. that thing i dreamed of having as a child isn’t even worth keeping around when compared to everything else they’ve got going on.
when it comes to genuinely unique technology based experiences like that, there’s nothing that beats Disney world. Disney Land is really nothing like it. Disney Land is mostly a regular theme park, not that much different than a six flags. Disney world has the most money and research put into it of any physical attraction in the world. that shit has probably had more money dumped into it than the Roman collosseum in its time. the things thet have there now feel like actual magic. they have 3d hologram systems, the have lightsabers that extend and look exactly like the movies, they have the same level of robot as what Tesla used to announce the cybertaxi just running around the park all the time. I’ve never been, but they have the most unbelievable entertainment technology there. i can see how a child would walk away feeling like they experienced something special.
twitter built itself on doing this the most nonsensical and annoying way possible.
huh, I’ve only ever heard it not attached to “over yonder”. for me it’s just a modifier to distance and direction to indicate you don’t account for terrain. “it’s about 5 miles south as the crow flies, but that river might give you hell”
sony a7siii.
I’m a pro videographer. my favorite subject is wildlife.
the a7siii still blows me away with its lowlight performance. i can shoot with my big 150-500 for almost an hour before sunrise and after sunset.

obviously a news show isn’t going to feel the same rewatching it. that’s not the point lol.
that would be like saying it’s dumb to preserve newspapers in libraries because it’s not going to feel as good rereading the “Hitler is dead” headline. people don’t look at old news to have a good time.
boy was it silly of us to preserve that kind of thing and it totally never comes in handy/s
that’s not even what people are upset about anyway. comedy Central mostly makes entertainment programming that isn’t news based and can still be enjoyed whenever. believe it or not, comedy Central has a lot of content that will stand the test of time. especially when looking at their stand-up catalogue.
this is the destruction of a library. a digital one, but a library none the less. that’s what people are mad about.
but you’re right. we should just dump all of our old movies and shows. they’re worthless moldy junk anyway… 🙄
it’s a good feeling unless you can’t print otherwise and the teacher is an asshole.
I had that once in highschool, so no Dean to escalate to or anything. principal took his side. the problem was, due to medical issues, i struggled to get assignments done at home. this class was 90% essays, but it was also just a history class. 100% of the material was covered in the lecture. I’m autistic and tend to remember lectures very well. so, come time for the final exam, one of the only actual in class exams, and i get nearly a perfect score. i knew the material, i just had other struggles with getting the papers done.
he used my struggle with the rest of the class as the only proof he needed to get me expelled. i had to finish my schooling at an alternative school, which was way way better anyway and honestly wasn’t a setbacm in the end. it sure set the tone for my relation with authority though.
haha, i did take 4 pictures until i was thought that the show would be recognizable 😅
but that’s just me getting a popular new show to boost my cat. she’s the star that i game the algorithm for 🌟
holy shit, i forgot that was Colin Farrell! i’m a big fan of him in mcdonagh movies.
i was only kind of into the new Batman with the riddler, but the vibe feels right for it to be more of a mob story instead.
love the cinematography. I’m a videographer myself and happen to own and love one of the old lenses they use a lot on this show.
one episode isn’t enough to make any judgements, but I can say that I’m looking forward to the next episode.
all of the “real” Martial arts from back before guns were about using weapons. those aren’t really practiced as much anymore because they’re all useless in the face of firearms anyway. why spend years training with a knife when the same time could be spent training with a gun. if combat effectiveness is your goal then you need to learn modern combat techniques.
that said, there’s plenty to be learned from it, and it’s not like it can’t help you in a fight. but as another commenter said, the real way to win every fight is by avoiding them. so really the best thing to learn is de-escalation and recognizing danger.
it’s not that men disagree with you that they hold power, people just disagree that any religion would be helpful regardless of who led it.
absolutely not lol.
the only reason Android was locked out of imessage was Apple, the only reason rcs is locked out of ios is Apple. it’s all Apple trying to keep the wall around its garden.
it didn’t actually say she did that as a job. this is more like when a teenager gets their pilot licence, it sounds like. a difficult goal that they set and achieved at an early age. it’s literally just a license that says she passed a test of skill.
this isn’t necessity about labor at all. it’s about someone being really good at what the do. idk about you, but I’d rather still see sushi chefs that are skilled like this in a post capitalist society.
FUCK.
that’s my hometown.
haven’t been there in years, but i used to walk there a lot. i typically just had to walk on the grass or in the ditch next to the road. then i had to plan my entire route around where i could cross the roads. very very few places to do that, and almost none that were safe.
got harassed by the cops once because i was walking at night with a flashlight in that town. walking is so uncommon there that it’ll get the police called on you.
also, more town than city.
same kind of crazy line formed there when they got chick-fil-a and portillo’s. it’s in Wisconsin, so they got chick-fil-a late and portillo’s early in their respective spreads across the country.
i also have autism and i don’t think that last statement is even true for most autistic people.
