I know that Wireguard considers some sessions alive and I was hoping to somehow hook into that. For my use case it’s enough if it works with the implementation in the Linux kernel. I guess I’ll have to take a look to see if there’s anything I can hook into with EBPF.

Looking at the protests against him in Israel I think many if not most Israelis don’t want this campaign of violence. For many years I’ve felt sorry for all the civilians in that area, because they are trying to live their lives and extremist assholes on all sides keep killing them.

I am so old that I worked with SGML. Compared to that, XML is a lovely language. And sometimes I still miss writing XSLT to quickly transform some XML documents. These days you can do similar things with JSON, of course. But it’s not as easy and standardized as the XML tooling.
