Every single election, the League of Women Voters puts out responses to their surveys about candidates’ relevant viewpoints and platform. Every single election I have to remind people it even exists. It’s the easiest way to filter out candidates. Do their viewpoints align with mine? Did they even bother to respond to the survey?

Takes like 5-10 minutes easily. There’s simply no excuse.

Is he? He was pretty hyped about how well Ukraine did in the early days of the conflict, actively tweeting about all the insane stuff that was going on. I think he was criticized for maybe speaking a little too openly about stuff that wasn’t exactly public knowledge, but he didn’t seem like a Russian asset from that perspective.

They have a pretty long history of publicly claiming to be best buddies but not-so-secretly despising each other and eyeing each other’s territory.

IIRC it was also commonly thought the Soviet Union and PRC were buddies because Communism but they each claimed to be the true successor to Marx’s ideology and denounced the other as inadequate.
