I struggle with suicidal ideation problems. They have been so severe in the past that I almost went through it. While not all suicidal scenes trigger me, there are a few. And I have found that having the warnings help me from shutting off the TV and running off in a crying fit. I know it’s coming and can prepare myself. And knowing that the hotline is there has been one of the most comforting things I know of. I may have never called, but it’s there for when I can’t deal on my own. So yes, the warnings make a positive difference for me.
I agree with you on that. And the changes still are going on. I remember in school in the 90’s it wasn’t uncommon for a college guy to date a high school girl with no real repercussion. Not saying that it was right back then, just looked at differently.
I won’t say acceptable, as there were still issues and such, but it was definitely persecuted differently.
Priscilla was 14 when they met, and he managed to convince her father to let her live with him. I blame the father just a much since he knew what was going down.
I did it twice today. The second time wasn’t as epic, but damn was the one this morning great.
I don’t use emoji very much. The most I use is when I’m working and sometime asks me to take on a task in Slack. There is a thumbs up all emoji that is just the skin tone shifting to all the colors. I like it because then I don’t have to give a fuck about it.
Kevin just wanted to sleep in the bed with her.
Beef makes money. Just like cars, oil makes money.
I used to joke with my niece that my programming job was just me staring at screens and meetings all day. She didn’t believe me until she got to shadow me one day and got super bored.
Like I can with Klarna, Affirm, Zip, any number of credit cards, etc.
Which is cheaper, switch out manufacturing processes and change the whole industry, or tell the consumer in a commercial that it’s all on them?
I have so many, but today I was listening to the radio and was really getting into Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing”, Heart’s “Crazy On You”, and Peter Schilling’s “Major Tom”. It was truly a good day on the radio.
Didn’t expect that.
I’m going to second this one. I volunteer for an air museum and it’s folks from late 30s and up.

I usually don’t when it’s just for me. But if I’m feeding more, it can be better with more people. But not often do I have to feed more than three and it makes sense.
Check out Tailscale. They have 20 machine limit on the free plan. It runs on wireguard and is pretty secure.
Where I live, there are people who make a decent amount of cash by grabbing whatever metal they can find out of the trash and taking it to scrapyards. There are a couple of trucks that swing past my house a few times the night before and the day of trash pickup. And myself, I grabbed two bikes by just knocking on the door and asking.
