The question is, which worker in an office will be the first to come in only four days a week.? They have to make management shut down the office, otherwise the workers will be too afraid of management to not be seen.

Like “Weekend at Sam Altman’s”?
I made myself a 3-D printed drain cover
https://github.com/profdc9/FreeCADParametricModels/tree/main/Sink-Drain
And it traps the hair and I don’t have problems with clogging. It’s a parametric part so it can be adjusted for most drain sizes.
The envoy had probably never seen clean water before and wanted a closer look.
In my house in North Carolina, I put up radiant barrier foil in the attic. It was cheap and made a huge difference in the upstairs temperature. I stapled it to the joysts so there was an air gap on both sides of the foil, and so that the hot air would rise out of the roof vents.
I had a nice pergola at another house I grew grape vines on. I sure do miss it.
Fiber laser, ceramic disc laser, CO2 laser?
Hopefully they’ll take him to a place where Trump can’t find or pardon him.
Quantum states are incredibly fragile and can be disturbed with even the slightest interaction with the environment (called decoherence). These devices are cooled and isolated to the most extreme degrees possible and still at present decoherence severely limits the computations that can be performed.
A quantum computer using current technologies can’t scale to that size. Enormous advances over what is now currently possible would be required to get it to that number of qubits, and then the whole issue of cooling can be revisited.
The only real question left in this war is: if Putin orders a nuclear strike, will he be obeyed?
Especially if you have a media empire that is useful to discredit those opposing your invasion.
Does that mean Germany will have the exotic negative energy that makes constructing a wormhole possible?
The Russians have nuclear submarines. No amount of bellicose bravado will blunt the sting of those.
Nuclear war is a very real possibility. If Putin becomes desperate enough, he will try to go to the very edge of brinksmanship. In this situation, with launch on warning, any perceived provocation could rapidly escalate. As the fear of a preemptive strike increases, so does the probability of a preemptive strike. Rationality gives way to fear. This is the logic and danger of brinksmanship: that the more you rely on it, the more likely it is to escalate out of control before one side backs down.
The outcome of the war in Ukraine has always been a game of chicken, being which side is willing to escalate to nuclear weapons, and whether the other side may or may not back down. The logic of escalation has always been that no possible gain exceeds the losses caused by a nuclear exchange. The Madman theory ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madman_theory ) is about convincing one’s opponent that is one is not rational, and is willing to use nuclear weapons despite the losses. The threat then, is that Putin, seeing himself politically vulnerable because of his losses, but still powerful enough to command the military to use nuclear weapons, would demonstrate his willingness to use nuclear weapons, even if not directly against a military target, in a demonstration (perhaps in the Black Sea) or an exoatmospheric test.
CAPTCHAs are solved by consensus. Whatever the CAPTCHA thinks a bicycle is depends on what people before it selected. Sometimes it doesn’t know and just uses your answer to set up future CAPTCHAs. So you should be thinking: what would other people (or bots) select for the CAPTCHA.
The problem is that I don’t have static versions of most of the libraries available.
The Soviets had COMINTERN. The CCP wants to rely on shared Chinese identity.
The only material changes I can see would be for Russia to move nuclear weapons into occupied Ukraine and/or resumes nuclear testing. Every other escalation does not result in a change their stance that can be perceived from outside Russia. Either of these events would cause an enormous elevation in the readiness and deployment of NATO forces and would risk uncontrolled escalation. How desperate is Putin now?
