Definitely agree, it probably was a non-manifold mesh. There are several ways to fix this, but one of the easiest is to load it up in Blender, apply a voxel remesh modifier to it, and then re-export.
Sure, but obviously an active shooter changes the situation in a way that authorizes deadly force.
By whose definition? Gang members ARE civilians, (assuming they’re not actively shooting at things). Just because they’re damaging to society does not change that definition.
Even if they WERE gang members, civilized nations do not shoot civilians.
They could have boarded the ship and detained them, but they chose violence.
This is my favorite type of democracy. Why even have representatives in a digital-first world?
It’s very wise for politicians to attempt a de-escalation of violence.
In the end, all laws are enforced by gun.
I want that too, but maybe not all of those things at the same time. I’d feel really bad for them.
This is some serious “let them eat cake” shit
I love projects like this. Do one thing, super well, without adding a kajillion dependencies. I love the vanilla HTML / CSS approach.
I think I’ve been entirely clear about what a shitstain I think Trump is. Not all small business owners are conservative.
Cool, when does my small business get its refund?

Basically 2 parties make it impossible to kill off bad actors in charge of the parties, leading to eventual extremism.
Game theory always predicted that the two party system would end up like this. I just didn’t expect it to collapse so suddenly.
One of the biggest failings of our system is that it takes so fucking long to bring a viable lawsuit up that you can almost never stop the illegal behavior while it’s happening. And many suits get automatically dismissed because “it already happened and is therefore irrelevant now”.
That’s sadly the opinion of a lot of tech companies.
It’s fine to do that if you’re pre-customer and you’re just dabbling with a new idea. Once you are ready to go public though you need to be stable and secure. The big problem is when people try to apply the same development philosophy between established software and pre-alpha software.
