In other words, government shutdown is a near guarantee.
Dick, take a look out of starboard, it looks like a huge…
Hah! I wanted to learn more so I started searching the Internet for this blog and couldn’t find it, only to realize a couple minutes in, that he’s a fictional character! 😳

I hear you, and I appreciate the way you’ve articulated this. It’s beyond disheartening to see how science and rational discussion are being undermined, often for political gain. For over 30 years, Fox News has manipulated large swaths of the American population into rejecting science, common sense, and even empathy for their own neighbors, friends, and family. It’s frustrating to see so much energy spent on manufactured outrage while real issues are ignored. Just wanted to send my support and appreciation for your perspective.
e: oof. Mods removed my “You’ve perfectly articulated my thoughts as well.” comment which ended up getting -7 points. They’ve also removed a lot of other comments in our conversations, I’m assuming because they violated rule #4, #5, or #6. I’m assuming they thought mine was low effort posting, but I’m not sure. Either way, as was my intent with the first comment, I’m very impressed with your ability to articulate your perspective.
e2: I was banned for Transphobia! I can’t articulate how absurd that is. 🥚
My understanding of HRT is that it it changes your muscle density, among other things. Although studies have shown they may still retain higher levels of muscle mass and strength. Anecdotally, a friend of mine is no where near as strong as they were before HRT. I know they were quite shocked when they realized they could no longer lift things they were once able to carry before transitioning.
You’ve perfectly articulated my thoughts as well.
Ditto!! <3 He was my best friend. He was so special. He tried telling us of our miscarriage before we knew. He knew when his adopted brother was going to die. He got me through a lot of past trauma. He was invincible; it was his name (Muteki, invincible in Japanese). But he couldn’t beat his failing kidneys. We buried him in our back yard. I still bring him pistachios to play with; they were his absolute favorite “toy”.
Thank you for responding and may the memories of yours live forever.
I lost my 19 yo 10 months ago. I think about him every day. I’m still heart broken.
Sorry for your loss.
Our 19 year old also had kidney failure, and we spent every minute with him as well. On his last night, the sunset was in every direction, a full 360° sunset. April 30th was his last day and I will always miss him. He was Muteki; he was invincible.

Czar Nikolai II, last reigning Emperor of Russia, killed by firing squad along with his family. The bodies were driven to nearby woodland, searched and burned. The remains were soaked in acid and finally thrown down a disused mineshaft.
Same, except for list comprehension in python, I prefer sinlge character var names there.
Same thought. Try kagi search. Search is better, I believe they use their own indexing, and you’re their customer, not the product, so there’s incentive to providing good service to customer instead of being treated like cattle and it shows!
Fully agree. I would also hope to see a complete ban on advertising to children, and to get rid of obnoxious billboards.
This issue only occurs when i go into a deep meditation specific to relaxing my muscles before sleep. I had to learn this as a kid because my mind would race for hours trying to fall asleep. With a few different techniques, I can fall asleep within 15 minutes. 5 if I’m already tired. But it wasn’t until recently that i discovered i could push the technique far enough to relax my autonomous breathing. But probably very much related to sleep apnea, just not quite the same in my case.
A funny thing I discovered, if I relax my muscles too much when falling asleep, my body’s autonomous breathing stops. It’s weird, I just literally stop breathing until something else in me starts to panic then I’m gasping for air.
Why the switch? What are you looking about nixOS? (just curious, i haven’t heard much of nixOS)
Do you do the same with your DE? lol
Same. Was even using it on some servers years ago. I don’t anymore, but on CentOS on servers, then Alma Linux after the centos8 debacle, but now after recent red hat debacle it seems I’ll be replacing server OSs with debian. Arch all the way tho on workstations and laptops.
I love our DE mat. We had an issue with one of our cats peeing on the cotton mats while they were damp, which is why we switched, but i personally find it oddly luxurious. Clearly not soft and cushy tho.
