the criminalization/coercion of street-homeless to overcrowded sub-standard shelter… basically is a prison( remarkably similar to jail) or concentration camp.
a significant chunk of the residents are ex-cons who recently got released but they dont have money+job for an apartment(if they even want one).

i believe that CT&MRI are also used in research. which i think is really great.
in clinical diagnostic setting, the imaging is for a single case and privacy protected… whereas in research, it is greenlighted and maximally designed for greater good of medicine.

thats true. its my own fault in some ways. meaning that i could have prevented it via backups.
i suppose i could channel my feelings in that direction. however, even before this, i had plans of moving away from apps. apps dont provide necessary features that i need.
its like… for example… why would you ever need a complicated selfhosted cloud software to store your notes(bad example RN). my reasoning: someone else wrote the software for general users. if the task is simple(writing text to a file)… i ought to just write it myself, for my own needs. its not hard and its really important that it works and is controllable.
apps are kinda cute and ergonomic for touchscreens(maybe*). i would still use it when i absolutely need that. but any other case, i would take the opportunity to take full control of my workflow.
