I went ahead and just deleted my entire pictrs cache and will definitely disable caching other servers images when it becomes available.

On the flip side, they don’t come up in a mass search. I have so many notes. If it doesn’t come up in a search it mine as well not exist, I’ll never find it.

Its a total pain in the ass and the most annoying part. Usually you can take it to an auto parts store in your area that has a container you can dump it. But half the time its full and isnt emptied for weeks.

Lemmy has to reach a critical mass of users before the more niche communities start to grow. Most of it is all tech communities which is expected. Lucky for me thats my interests.
