Nobody claimed that women are not capable. Where are all these weird claims coming from that nobody ever said a word about?
And nobody ever asked to maintain privilege. Claiming however that voting against this was in any way sexist is absolutely ridiculous as long as we maintain a system where women are not seen as equals but as unworthy of equal treatment.

No they should not? Nobody said that.
Also nobody who is in the army here actually believes they will ever see a war. Most people who serve just hate it and see it as a waste of time that will never amount to anything.

Am I in the wrong movie? Women are at a huge disadvantage in life (Gender pay gap, workplace representation, unpaid care and domestic work, education and job positions, healthcare, part-time employment, promotion and career advancement, violence against women, political representation) and we should work to solve that but for some reason we first want to force them to also serve in the military while leaving the current system in place that puts them at a disadvantage? Oh the heavens, men have to serve for a single year…yes that is super important, not all the things they get a huge advantage in life?

Not if said activity is forced upon you. Women can already voluntarily join the military or civil service.

Measure whatever you want but maybe first make it slightly more equal for the ones who have been disadvantaged for decades? But no, one party always focuses on the few things man have where they are slightly worse of.

Oh give me a break, women are getting away worse in so many facets of life. When we have fixed discrimination against women we can talk about them doing mandatory civil service.
Edit: Did not know that on Lemmy we have such an issue with women’s rights.
Just watching it going through the banner and disabling everything is mesmerizing.
Are you certain that the answer was actually from their sources? I had multiple occasions where Mistral/ChatGPT gave me sources and I felt like something was off. I then followed the sources and could not find what they found according to themselves. I then asked them to quote the actual text they used to provide said answer and after drilling them a few more times they concluded that yes, the thing they said was actually not anywhere to be found in the sources they provided.

At least some good news, back home in Switzerland our government is cowering before Trump, reassuring him that we will buy the F-35 even though they just put a flat 39% tariff on us…they even flew to Washington to improve our offer, whatever that means, fucking cowards.
No that is BambuLab
What? You mean there is not a single country without Nazis? Oh the heavens. Nazi groups in Ukraine are still an issue (as they are everywhere) but maybe something happened that was more important. Don’t know what though.

I can give you some issues regarding press freedom in Switzerland. One issue is the Federal Banking Act which is a major concern because it can lead to self-censorship among journalists. If a journalist reports on leaked bank data, even if it’s in the public interest, they risk facing criminal prosecution and up to three years in prison.
Adding to this, recent legislative changes have made it easier for individuals and companies to obtain injunctions against upcoming press publications. Previously, they had to prove that the publication would cause considerable damage, but now they just need to feel that it will affect them.

That’s the third option, I was just saying that at least they do sell replacement parts which today is not always the case for many companies.

That will be a shitty day. But the alternative is that they don’t sell replacement parts at all. To be fair we don’t even know how they treat discontinued products as all their printers are still in production.
Still my point stands, Bambu printers simply just work, I took my 15-20 minutes to set up and it did run flawlessly since then with only the maintenance the printer asks me to do. I can understand why people like that. This would be possible by opensourcing everything but somehow except for Prusa there is noone else who strikes that balance between ease of use and openness.

I own a BambuLab A1M as I want a printer that just works. And while yes it is all proprietary they do sell replacement parts for most parts.
While I will not forgive them for their latest moves I am quite happy, I turn it on, load an stl into BambuStudio and let it run without any issues at all.
My next printer will however probably be a prusa as they are Europeans and I love that they keep everything up to the user so far. But I can not deal with anything that is more DIY than a Prusa, it is a tool for my hobby…not the hobby itself.

That made it so much easier when I eventually will upgrade my printer… should have gone with Prusa in the first place.

I had the unfortunate experience that major upgrades on Debian did break the system twice alreay (different servers though). Doing small, incremental package upgrades seems like less of a risk, I can more easily track major package upgrades.
Also it is my homelab, not a production environment, a place where I try new things and play around. So curiosity is always a reason as to why I do things as well.

Moving my servers to Arch (EOS) as my trial for one during 2024 was successful, rock solid. Swapping my router to a Unifi Express as I am switching to an ISP which finally allows me to do so.
If believing so makes you happy ☺️
