To be fair, I’m pretty impressed with Kagi Search overall. But that’s a topic for a different thread, I think.

There are two ways to manage something like this. This PR creator did all the right things. A clear explanation into the rational for making those changes citing English as a second language. Not “I’m butt hurt because you used the wrong pronouns and I demand changes now!!!1!1!11one!!”.
Heck, here in the UK, we have a TV licence and the OG ad-free service, the BBC.
