I think it’s mostly stupid and ethically questionable, except when your speech needs to be evaluated as a routine part of the job. I don’t think worker to worker conversations should be impacted though.

Yes, but also this is why I want guys to put their shirts back on.
I was so confused by that.
Yeah, basically agree. And if parity is the goal I’d rather see men cover up a little more.
I think all government software should be GPLed. Of the binaries or interfaces don’t face the public then the code doesn’t need to be shared, but otherwise: public funded should mean it’s a publicly accessible good.
The second panel should include “I still get paid for the work of one.”
“Woke” was what some people said they were when they said and did certain things. Then some other people decided they didn’t like that first group of people, sometimes for what they said, sometimes for what they did, sometimes just for who they were, and they saw that those people called themselves woke. So they decided that they didn’t like woke, and when they saw other things they didn’t like that reminded them of the first group, they called that woke too.
There is not necessarily only two groups.
Yeah, it’s sex + love. “Romantic” as a descriptor was always a euphemism. Sexual desire waxes and wanes, and varies between people and over time. Always has been. But it would be a very weird kind of categorization if you had to redefine your feelings constantly based on the present moment.
Yeah the prices are getting out of control. It can be cheaper to eat at a fast casual restaurant.
This is a good answer. Also people don’t tend to change their minds quickly on subjects they feel strongly about, but quality contrary evidence, especially without judgment or moralism, can sow seeds of doubt.
See the guy in the meme asked for a thing the genie liked, so the genie granted the wish and gave him extra wishes. Hahahahaha
It’s good for rapid output of plausibly human text that can then be sorted or assessed for adequate validity or utility. That’s all.
It’s incredibly stupid, but for those who truly believe in it it’s fine as long as they just use it as a guiding principle in their own lives. But it tends to attract the passionate sort, as any theoretically “anti-suffering” ideology will, so idk, I circle back to it’s stupid.
Does someone need an explainer about why suffering is natural, okay, not inevitable, and certainly not the only thing a being can feel? Or that the world is actually quite nice, but we generate suffering within ourselves?
It’s just the internet making all media available, and streaming is the lowest friction way of giving people that access.
Yet unmentioned: Halo. I remember being introduced to the first one and being completely unimpressed. It just wasn’t that much technically better than the competition, and the world as far as I could see was super boring.
Collecting monsters and fighting them is fun, but Pokemon, to me, is just not the best game for that.
Keep in mind that music lost a lot of its cultural cache since your benchmark decade of the 90’s. Mass culture isn’t really the same as it was then. I remember Weird Al talking about doing a lot fewer parody songs just because fewer people recognize any given song.
Yeah there’s still music out there, but if you don’t know it that’s not really your fault.
American Prestige is firmly left-wing, but principally a news show.
This Is Revolution is an irreverent socialist podcast that often dedicates whole episodes to music and sports.
If you want a talk radio show about unions, The Valley Labor Report fits the bill.
There’s other stuff out there that I think is good, but is also a bit more on-the-nose with political theory and punditry.
Honestly not the answer I was expecting. Thanks for clarifying.
Seems highly unlikely at this point. Texts have come out from the Utah police indicating he was in a relationship with a trans person and upset at Kirk’s rhetoric. I wouldn’t call him ideologically coherent, but also…not a groyper.
