I prefer the real Kirk.
I prefer the real Kirk.
Meh, I’ll take it.
It’s not really a discussion. They know damn well they are full of shit. But for the most part, they got away with it because we have a history of being soft when it comes to consequences for traitorous behavior.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups. See the US for reference.
I figured they would rip off the front bumper trying to stick the landing.
Fuck all that. People who reject empathy don’t deserve empathetic treatment. He was a giant turd and I’m glad he got flushed.
All good, friend. Keep hating those Nazis.
I appreciate the sentiment, but for the record, the Presidential Medal of Freedom is a civilian award, so it’s unlikely that anyone was awarded one for killing Nazis (although I’d be happy to be proven otherwise!). With it being the highest civilian award available, the military equivalent should be the Medal of Honor, which requires gallantry at the risk of one’s own life above and beyond the call of duty.
Last I checked, hating Nazis wasn’t a UCMJ violation.
I guess Kittie rebranded.
Fuck man. I happened to catch part of an interview with Vance the other day, and every fucking statement was about how bad Biden did this, and how Biden screwed this up. They don’t have a single original policy or idea, just “Biden bad.”
See, you don’t understand. He’s the President, which in his mind, makes him America. So, him saying “America first” is really just his way of saying “I’m the only one who matters.” Which makes a lot more sense when you look at the shit he’s doing.
Cool. This is the first time I’ve seen it.
You fool, don’t wake her before election season!
Because it’s a brand of cat food?
Honestly, that’s politics for you. Regardless of what a country is actually doing, they will maintain an official stance for the record. Calling that country a liar is considered impolite.
Edit: in diplomatic terms that is.
The US officially has what’s called a One China Policy. The embassy located in Taipei isn’t even called an embassy. It’s the American Institute Taipei. And yes, it’s because they don’t want to get on China’s bad side.
Granted, that was all before Trump decided to flip the trade table, so who knows what the stance going forward will be.
Just Matt Gaetz that I’m aware of.
Making the lives of regular people better usually means making the lives of the wealthy “worse” by way of income redistribution. Guess who has the money to ensure they come out on top?
I put worse in quotations because functionally, your life isn’t much different if you have 8 digits in your bank account vs 9+. It’s still an obscene amount of money for one individual to have and likely will have zero impact on your quality of life.
Is that why placebos work? I could swear they had done studies that show that placebos can be as effective as medication under certain conditions, all other things being equal. Maybe not as effective as medication, but more effective than non-treatment.
