I’ve made 100% AI software already. It was slightly more complex than a hello world, tho.

I’ve been using Kodi to pull movies from my NAS for years.
NAS + Tailscale + Kodi is the easiest to setup for me. Works really good.
They think they have enough users locked in to just pay over setting up another server. They might.
He was saving money, you know, to be efficient.
Open source file manager Material Files lets you set an SSH server as a bookmark and mount it instantly. Moving files around just like like it’s native. Works seamlessly through Tailscale.
I love it. I can run my microphone through noise-canceling when using video call software that doesn’t have its own noise-canceling. I can run an audio compressor over mpv if the movie does that loud explosion/quiet talking thing. You can assign each application a different effect stack.
The most expensive thing I own is less than $3,000. I don’t think I’m this target demographic.
You can’t be in audiophile mode in a car. You don’t even get proper stereo separation.
I can’t hype up Tauon Musicbox enough.
Oh damn, you’re right.
Correction: the iPhone 16 does support physical SIM.
The Ender 3 is the printer I recommend new users get. It’s open source hardware and firmware, the devices can be found for as little as $20 sometimes. Bambu Studio, UltiMaker Cura, and PrusaSlicer, and probably loads more are all awesome slicer software that is compatible with a LARGE number of 3D printers.
Their static website hosting is probably the best in the business. We seriously need some competition though.
So, downvoted, huh? By fellow open source users who don’t want to hear the truth?
The truth is that you might have experienced this, but this might not reflect the average user’s experience. My older ThinkPad feels no difference in better life based on the web browser.
Admittedly, I bought an Nvidia card for AI. I am part of the problem.
It never went away.
This is bullshit.
Until I see an OSI approved license, it’s not open source.
