I’ve been quite happy with it, the package price is great while the software is much less neutered than the Xiaomis I’ve used before. Fast processor, gargantuan battery and the fast charging up to 120W without heating up the phone much is insane.

That seems like something you guys should have been more proactive about.

What a convoluted way to tell someone that you can’t counter their argument.

Let me give you a different starting point: why would it be better if the collapse/downfall of the USA happened more slowly?

I didn’t claim that Democrats are the salvation. I have no suggestions on fixing your political system. Just pointing out the fact that Trump was elected. Twice. So this goes even deeper than politicians and their cronies - it’s a huge part of the population that’s rotten along with them.

Another reason is that it’s not like there was a coup and the population is being held hostage. They voted for this. Twice.

Just to clarify, the only reason he’s a threat is because Americans voted him into office twice.

In 1942 there were 110,000 Japanese-American citizens, in good standing, law abiding people, who were thrown into internment camps simply because their parents were born in the wrong country. Do you accept that people can prefer partners older or younger than them? If so, do you really think that’s something that can be dealt with by some kind of “conversion therapy”?

Yeah, functionality between these varies, I know some of them can tell you what capabilities the cable’s chip spits out.

These days a ~10€ gadget can tell you about the electricity going through a USB connection and what the cable is capable of. I don’t like the idea of basically requiring this to get that knowledge, but considering the limited space on the USB-C plugs I’m not sure anything is likely to improve about their labeling.

You’re probably not the only one out there. Maybe someone else would see it differently and pound your head in for less. That frees up the sandwich and anything else in your possession.

Going by your comments, I think you need to know a few basics before you get into people’s suggestions for actual services. Start with this: more or less, “the cloud” is just someone else’s computer. It’s bigger, the connection is faster, etc., but the services you use most likely run on a Linux computer much like the one you already have.

For experimenting with the topic, it would be good to have another computer that you can mess around with and not worry about having a usable machine. If you can cobble together a desktop from old parts it will be enough to start the learning process.
