I quitted few years ago already. I bought a pack of those peppermint like pills that contain nicotine to help stopping. They tasted so horribly bad I just had like 2 of them and quit smoking cold. So maybe go get some of those disgusting pills.

So let’s say I check all those boxes; what then?
We tend to forget that all of that is to support people. Tech shouldn’t be an end goal, merely one of the ways to achieve it. And not always the best one at that.
Truely a nice one. The community around it is quite cool as well.
Culture really is the one bullet again far right imho. Politics always come with agendas, it’s hard to count on them in the long run.
Good luck fitting in society at that point… And avoiding all dependent technologies - cars, every city and shops that uses image recognition…. Plenty other ways to indirectly get anyone’s data in this world.
Now you can turn to the forest but is it better than the alternative ?
Telco. Back then I was internal investigation. 25k employees. Bound to have some bad apples unfortunately. Honestly not weirder than elsewhere.
So do I but with exception of the unfortunate cp that calls for bleaching eyes (and security) one is more sanitary than the other…
I can relate to the guy that had to put that number in. Prolly went along the lines of « can we get some budget to identify our various processing activities and what processors are involved ? »… to what management said « lol no just put the overall numbers in ». And the guy included the kitchen company in there because fuck it.
Haaaa yeah the lure thing… I do the same across the board xD I also try to catch all possible fish species at every location with all possible techniques. It’s very very soothing.
I’m a world class nerd and reclusive millennial but fishing and going to the river is the one outdoor destination that actually purge my stress levels.
Compared to the peaceful nations of China, Iran and Russia?
Haaaa yeah the kindle. Both loved and hated in my case. Love the form factor, allowing me to indulge in new books. Hate it because I don’t get new physical books anymore. Not that I have any room left for books; that’s the reason I bought the kindle in the first place…
Also like it’s the only source of vulnerabilities… in addition a lot of the trendy python libs are developed in C; do we also ditch those?
Given the prevalence of cloudflare they could basically assess the trust level of your ass by cross checking how trusted you are on other services also behind cloudflare. If you aren’t utterly suspicious elsewhere you’re likely not a bad agent.
2nd time in a week that I identify in your posts… it’s frightening.
As long as no sourcerer drops by :)
Let’s see a company weasel out of iso27001 audit and explain their customers that they aren’t so much compliant anymore. That’s what is getting companies to stay within the lines and that should count as a punishment. Privacy authorities aren’t generally staffed enough to be a concern for the moment unless you are very unlucky.
Yeah definitely a good idea. Routing your mobile traffic through it so your carrier cannot access your traffic and the services you don’t want to share location with can’t snoop as much on you.
Ultimate Online is where I have my fondest memories. On private servers, not on the origins one. Loved the people and the skill system where you could be anything. Also getting wrecked by a dragon 3 mins in game was nice. Also pack llama bombing the britania’s bank. Fun times.
