I’ve been one of the women in that situation where a guy makes a mistake and walks into the ladies room accidentally (multiple times.) I’ve never once thought they were weird. Neither did any of the friends I was in there with. You’re just fine; you didn’t do anything wrong. It happens to everyone! Don’t sweat it. :) 🫂

Hey, that’s really similar to how mine is! Minus the slurs, thankfully, lol. But I get it.

Right now, in my head, it’s a mix of Rump Shaker by Wreckx-N-Effect and Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana except that the lyrics are re-written to be horrible and mean to me, about hating myself, telling me to kill myself, I should be hit by a car, I should be stabbed in the face, etc. I am not a healthy person. :D There’s usually plenty of dark/low humor and fucked up jokes I’d never say thrown in there, too. There’s also often a voice that goes “hey, that’s not helpful, be nice to yourself! You wouldn’t treat anyone else this way!” 'cause I really am trying to be better. That and like a shotgun blast of a million other different trains of thought mixed in. It’s chaotic in there.

Maybe I’m not perfect, but at least when I’m done grocery shopping, I bring the cart back to where it belongs and don’t just leave it wherever I please - like in the middle of a parking lot. That really gets my goat. (Just make an effort to be courteous, considerate, and kind to others!!! It is not that hard!!! Argh!!!)

I usually take stuff to sleep and can’t remember my dreams. This is one of the first time I have naturally fell asleep and stayed asleep in well over a month!

This is probably a factor! It’s super common to suddenly have intense, vivid, memorable dreams (when you usually don’t) after continually using sleep aides and then stopping them. It can even happen with just marijuana. Brains are weird! I’ve experienced the same thing. You’re not alone.

Seconded! His stuff just tickles me. The Sticky Buddy dub of his still lives rent-free in my head and has since it came out. Especially the excited sound the old lady makes, “the cat’s flippin’ turds everywhere!” and the sound that the device makes: “BLBlblblblblbl” They just pop into my head entirely too often. I adore that silly shit!

This is a great post about such a frustrating and sucky situation. Thank you for sharing it with us here. I really feel for all the smaller sites and webmasters who have to deal with all this absurdity. :(

Like they mentioned, when I hit one of those damn Cloudflare ‘prove you’re a human’ checks – which is a LOT nowadays – I definitely do get irritated…but I’m not usually upset with the site owner who is just trying to protect their site. I feel for them. I’m pissed off and disgusted at all the greedy, inconsiderate assholes and corporations who are fucking everything up for us normal people, both on the Internet and off.

I don’t know where we go from here, but I hope it somehow gets better soon… ugh.
