I got mine at least 1 year after release, so maybe they started including them later ? Or maybe my parents bought me that dongle because they were tired of telling me to lower the sound. I just know I have one and don’t recall ever buying a GBA accessory

9·2 years ago“Vous” is the first one that comes to mind in french. But since it is also a more formal (and/or “respectful”) version of “tu/toi”, it can both designate a group of people or a single person, depending on the context (just like “you” in English). Sometimes people will use “vous tous” (literally “you all”) to make this clear.
It is a little better than the “you” situation in English since if you are speaking with someone that is not using the singular form of “vous” to speak about you (which is basically anyone you are familiar with unless they are your boss or In-laws and kind of oldschool), it is instantly clear what they mean at least.

2·2 years agoYeah I used to think that the breed does not meaningfully affect their personality but that changed when I met my gf’s orientals

9·2 years agoI think the siamese-types might just be orientals with the same color pattern as siameses. Which is basically the same thing as far as I’m concerned but apparently there are differences

I saw a city maintenance guy with an electric leaf blower for the first time ever the other day. It was a beautiful sunny day too so I felt like I was looking at one of these utopic cities animations for a second

1·2 years agoFound the American. In France that would be a huge ripoff compared to what the other providers have to offer. Like, literally any VDSL offer is around 30€/month (or under) and no caps

5·2 years agoThis. I didn’t spend nearly 1000 bucks on hardware that ensures that I basically spend more time on the POST screen than on the rest of the entire boot sequence to keep the thing on 24/7

1·2 years agoI keep joking that we should make video games mandatory for millionaires when this subject comes up but I legit think that playing some grindy game or management games would make this type of people less greedy to some degree, because at their core they appeal to our seemingly primal urge of always hoarding more resources.
Can confirm, grandpa was a WW2 vet (+ a few of the postcolonial wars that followed). He used to say that soldiers morale hinges on wine and cigarettes.
Also he died of lung cancer after surviving all that shit, including being a POW for 4+ years in extremely shitty conditions in Cambodia

Idk, I would not ruin a man’s life over the similarities. But then again I am quite terrible at telling faces apart
