Is this how it works? I would be shocked if this was actually how it works.

Oh yeah they’ve definitely been infiltrating. This has been pretty obvious, atleast since Fetterman started pulling his bullshit.

I feel like I don’t understand what the message being sent here is. Are they mad that the Epstein files got released? Mad about what’s in them? Something else?

Listen, I’m not here to defend the Democrats. But if you aren’t willing to do the simplest, easiest possible form of resistance: voting against the people building new concentration camps and passing bills that hurt vulnerable people. You’re entirely useless in this conflict.
If that’s the only thing you do then you’re almost useless in this conflictbb

Wow. Yeah that person’s a dumbass.

Yeah, and trans people are amongst those they want to kill.

Glad they waited until it’s borderline impossible to actually get it passed into law. /S

I don’t think I’ve seen a single person saying that. Plenty saying that you should vote when mid-terms roll around, but none saying that you shouldn’t be doing anything before or after.

Oh no. Your devices aren’t your property like your women are. You bought access to Apple’s iPhone.
Sweetheart, just because I haven’t committed suicide-by-cop doesn’tean I’m not resisting. You sound like incredibly fertile soil for the fascists to plant their seed in when they inevitably try to take your country over. You should learn some empathy before that happens.

I know they have a pretty brutal work culture, which suggests a dismal political landscape, but that’s about it. That seems like a pretty typical knowledge level for westerners, so you’re probably right.
I never said anything about Democrats. Anyway, the Democrats are a conservative party, they’re just less conservative than Republicans.
*conservatives
Don’t lump me in with the nazis

The outcome is things don’t get worse as quickly as they would under republicans. Voting is still important but right now it’s a bandage, when what we need is surgery.

For real. Even If this was a genuine moment of weakness, that just means everyone needs to push all the harder. Grind this piece of shit and his entire regime so deep into the ground that future generations will take it as a warning.
No, they’re not going to change anything. We have to do that, and we can do that while still voting. No one in this thread is even arguing against anything I’m actually saying, you included.
Of course I was outraged that that was all happening under Democrats. You might notice I haven’t been praising them.
Just because they’re both awful, doesn’t mean that one of them isn’t worse. Pointing out “but hey, blue team bad too” doesn’t contradict that. Failing to vote against Republicans is just giving them ground. In 2024 we gave them ground and they built brand new concentration camps on it. Are you not outraged at that? Do you not wish that could have been avoided?
I’m all for organization. It is quite literally the only path to positive change here. But that doesn’t mean we can stop voting. We have to do both.
If you really do genuinely believe that they’re both the same, then why even bring up the idea of voting? Why spend time, effort and attention convincing people to reduce their civic engagement instead of convincing them to increase their civic engagement?
If they’re both the same then what’s the point of convincing people not to vote against the Republicans? Wouldn’t it make more sense to focus on getting people to organize?
Good job, you saved them!
