My experience after I chose to go like 4 months without meds is that after I have been on the meds for a few years I learned within a few months to actually be fully functional without meds, though i still function better on meds, but i can actually learn and get stuff done without meds
Yea, i do that too, except i actively work on all of them, most of my projects are it/server projects for for my self, but i do work on like 10 projects at a time, though because i dont have money for an expensive server, i use an old computer that currently cant do any of the things i need from it, so im just slowly upgrading it
I often don’t remember anything of what I have done, for me it’s often like a blackout, i have cleaned my own room, to then not know where anything is because I hyper focused
Yea i take it in the evening same time as my girlfriend takes her pills(not ADHD pills) but since it’s quite a while after we ate dinner, I’m basically on an empty stomach, but as long as I drink more than enough to swallow i dont get nauseous, but if i take it with out liquid i do get nauseous, and sometimes burps with the taste of the pills, so i get more nauseous
YES, and also when I don’t ignore them think to myself that I can wait a bit before doing something and then completely forget it, it’s worst with my meds, because they help me not forget it so when I forget to take it the likelihood of me forgetting the next day is very high and then the next day even worse
And at the same time think about that time someone was mean to you 8 years ago
If you tell someone to breathe with you, and after inhaling and exhaling a couple times and just tell them that they are now breathing manually they actually just can’t choose to switch back to automatic breathing, so they are stuck manually breathing till they divert their attention with out noticing, it’s funny though
I think it’s a combination of the steam deck, people learning that Linux isn’t really that hard, and Microsoft breaking there reputation by spitting out windows 11 when they promised that windows 10 would be the last, and windows 11 having higher requirements so people with older computers is now looking at alternatives and the people who haven’t switched to 11 being stressed about windows 12 comming, and then therefore searching for alternatives
My recommendation would be help them learn, ask them if they really want to do it, and then teach them the basics and help them with what to search for, and teach them how to google properly, because though most people use google, most people don’t know how to really find something on google because they don’t understand the basics of how it works
Yea it’s incredible that they still help l, i think it’s because you unconsciously train your brain
