People at work wants me to do something and using phrasing, like “can we check this?” , “we must do xy quickly”. What do you mean WE? If you want me to do something personally just fucking say it MF! It makes my blood boil.

But can I take my Steam Deck with me?
Hope thats not the cats name
I personally love the smaller userbase. Less spam, more quality, less screentime, no doomscrolling. Its a win-win in my book.
No idea, also not my ideal preference, but he seem to like it, while he was miserable with the IT school.
Very true, more people should follow their dreams.
I know a guy who was kind of forced into an IT university. His parents thought it would be a good fit, as he likes computers and videogames.
He one day decided to quit and took some time off and started working in some fancy hotel kitchen as a temp job, while spending some time away from the family. Fast forward a couple years, he is now in culinary school and wants to become a chef. Needless to say he is happier and visibly has a better mental health as before.
Only cholesterol can get rid of that guy. They rigged the election system over a decade ago and have their people everywhere.
It would be great for sure, but I think the chances to get rid of Orban and his bootlickers is very close to zero.
Does it give you multiple options for a route? Like fastest/using least petrol/no tolls, etc?
I am currently using Google maps and waze most of the time and tried Organic maps for a while for a more privacy focused option, but it only gives you one option, no alternatives of similar length/time.
Edit: nevermind, just downloaded it and it does offer alternatives. Looking good as well, will definitely test it, thank you!

Thanks, yes projects like Heroic or Lutris are great, I use both.
It’s just the fact that one of the all time most requested feature on GoG is Linux support for many years, yet its ignored constantly. Its just disappointing.
800 games on Steam, 200 on GoG. I love the DRM free stuff, but Steam has so many great features its on a whole other level to be honest.
+Steam deck and Linux support is a huge positive.
GoG Galaxy is great, but also doesn’t have a Linux client, which makes it less convenient. Still GoG has so many gems not available anywhere else that I am willing to split my game library just for the classics.
Sounds like you had one specific issue, which escalated to this level.
I’m on steam for almost 15 years, had issues with refunds, serial keys, hardware support, account issues and steam deck hardware replacement. Every time they resolved it in a friendly and professional manner within hours.
I’m not saying your opinion is invalid, but stating things like, they are only reachable via social media is a huge exaggeration at best.
I agree, someone should have highlighted it, this is just confusing.
Couple weeks ago switched to Mint on my main rig. Since then I also installed Linux on my wifes old laptop. It works great, runs fast and it was 99% a painless transition. With my Steam Deck thats 3 Linux devices in our household.
I wish I coud touch the win 11 on my work laptop as well.
Also fuck Microsoft.
Smoking, drinking and gambling never ends well. Stay away from addictions.
Don’t try to proof how manly you are to your friends/girls. It rarely pays off. Its ok to have a veggie dish at the restaurant instead of a bloody steak. Its ok to not speed with your car to look cool. Its ok to wear whatever the fuck you want as long as you like it, it fits well and its practical for you. Do what you like and be proud of it.
Always save time for your hobbies. Growing up doesn’t means you can’t have fun. If you are in a relationship make sure your partner gives you enough space and time for yourself.
Job: tech support/warranty.
*spare part for repair gets delayed by delivery company by 1 working day (super specific part air post to another country) *
*Item ordered online arrives damaged by courier *
*Out of warranty product is not covered anymore by warranty (suprised pikachu) *
Customer: I did not expect this from a reputable company, like yours. I expect a refund, compensation and a kiss on the ass cheeks from your CEO. Also I will post this on social media and nobody will buy your product, because I am so important and have god like influence and power so better get me free stuff.
I dont remember another tv show where we watched 10 hours of recap/explanation/theory videos on youtube before each new season.
Amazing show and my favourite part is not even how brilliant the storyline is, but the god tier casting of different aged actors for the same characters.
Your answer sounds like it was lifted from a LinkedIn motivational post.
College favours the rich, who can afford it and I don’t think people with higher education are better at planning their future.
Lots of people are forced through college by their parents, often backed up with money and safety nets of security - if they fail the first time they just throw more money at it and try again.
I guess 5 rounds of 90 minutes long multi-stage interview process is much more efficient, where people selling an idealised version of themselves in imaginary scenarios.
Also talking to HR/recruitment department, who has no idea of the actual job is a great way to find the right candidate.
…its ridiculous
I know it sound crazy, but maybe some days use the time you spend on traveling to and from the fast food place and cook home instead multiple portions of food you enjoy for a fraction of cost.
