Don’t they have many trillions in reserves? Of course they won’t be bankrupt

They literally said the issue was an unintentional bug and then fixed it. How is that damage control?
You should remind your cat that his learning is making Descartes sad
Aren’t all lights led nowadays? I don’t think the type of the light is the problem
“Did this memory actually happen a long time ago or did it happen yesterday and my brain filed it wrong”
-Me more and more recently
“Can’t live without” is an overstatement, but here are mine:
Kvaesitso, search focused android launcher. I used to really like nova launcher’s local search and navigated my phone mostly using that. But once gensture navigation became a thing I had to stop using nova and replicate the experience in Samsung launcher with various local search apps that were lacking in comparison. Tried to go back a couple times once gestures with 3rd party launchers got better but found my old setup still too ugly and sluggish to go back to. Recently I randomly came across Kvaesitso on fdroid and it was everything I ever wanted out of a launcher.
Amberol music player. Not the ideal music player I’d like but at least it’s not Elisa.
Kid3, audio file tag editor. It has much better workflow/automation than mp3tag that I used in windows, and it seems if you spend some effort on it you could add more automation to make it even better.
Since the attack already involves someone with physical access they could hide a transmitter in the same room
Copied from another thread:
Fast transmissions are limited to a maximum range of 300 cm (10 ft), with the bit error rate being 2-4%. Medium-speed transmissions increase the distance to 450 cm (15 ft) for the same error rate. Finally, slow transmissions with nearly zero error rates can work reliably over distances of up to 7 meters (23 ft).
Fast = 1000bps, medium = 500bps, slow = 100bps.
4chan, and it’s maxxing. It’s used used for ‘productive’ things incels do (for the improvement of their life) instead of dooming over how they’re incels
Austrian authorities are reported to have received information about the Swift concert threat from U.S. intelligence, as Austrian law does not allow the monitoring of instant messaging apps, which the suspects had used to communicate.
Ugh
It could also be that İstanbul is more expensive, keep hearing that
average monthly wages (2900-3200)
I’m not sure where you found this but it’s severely outdated. Average wages were around 10000₺ in 2022 (probably mean) and the minimum wage has trpiled since then.
And I’m not sure what kind of a meal the 850₺ number is for, but it’s definitely not what you pay for an ordinary meal outside. In Ankara usual prices are between 500₺ and 150₺. Prices do balloon when you go to touristy places or places that serve hard drinks tho.
Those are the social media rage bait prices. Lots of places have prices 1/3 or less
Edit: That’s not to say it’s cheap, but there are cheaper (and still great!) options than the quoted amount
Edit 2: If you’re downvoting, please also tell me how $128 meals and $6 ice cream are in any way the norm.
Reeder tablet that came as a promotion with something. Could barely keep a single app open, sometimes. At some point low spec just means e waste
Public workers, pensioners and minimum wage get raises when the government needs political capital. Not sure about private
Edit: but most unions negotiate in the beginning of the year I think
Stop burning coal then
You’re saying the people advocating to remove comments that condemn Hamas or Gaddafi, accuse people of obeying the ‘empire’ and bring up genocide to claim moral high ground aren’t tankies?
That’s how I found out
Edit: but it’s not helpful that the one responsible is simply listed as ‘mod’
There is no impartiality for genocide.
Fuck off with hiding behind “but genocide!” whenever someone disagrees with you and double fuck you for implying that I or those other people support genocide. No matter how hard tankie politics dictates imperialsits (‘them’) and rest of the world (‘us’) are polar opposites, there are people that share some of your values and don’t share others. This includes people who see both hamas and isreali gvt as evil. If your ideology has answers ready for everything and doesn’t need you to impartially think to come to conclusions that’s a bullshit ideology.
Edit: Reminds me of religious nuts thinking atheists are evil because if they don’t follow every rule in the book they must be breaking all of the rules and you certainly can’t have your own moral compass.
Edit: And Hamas, even with …
Are you seriously arguing that killing less civilians than the isreali military somehow makes hamas good? If they hadn’t attacked much of the violence since then wouldn’t have happened and those 30 thousand Palestinians would at least be alive, even if not free. How hard is it to understand that multiple things can be correct?
I can understand why Hamas would choose to do what they did when they did it. Cornered animal lashes out. But it’s incomprehensible to me how anyone looking from the outside thinks attacking Isreal with anything less than a takeover force was a good idea, especially considering that in hindsight it was a terrible one.
So? Are those the magical words that justify removing any comment? Hamas isn’t Palestine or Palestinians and condemning a group that killed hundreds shouldn’t be a controversial statement, much less bigotry. And the irony of this happening in the thread about Isreal trying to pass a similar law for themselves…
I can understand you and other commenters expressing your opinions but the fact that not even the mods are keeping up the pretense of impartiality is insane
