No idea but there are still far too many Americans that support the current government and their actions.
I’m here for entertainment and to engage with opinions, views and perspectives different than my own to grow myself. I don’t care if you downvote but if you don’t engage me I can’t learn from it so I may block you as I’ll take it that you don’t want to see my content.

No. Some Americans still haven’t learned their lesson.
The same people who enjoy soap operas and over the top dramas.
2.71Tb/515 series for TV, 6.28Tb/1176 titles in Movies.
Almost everything in MKV because that’s what I prefer.
I use Plex so it’s organized according to their requirements.
Everything is stored with a redundant backup on a Synology NAS with 6/9 HDD bays filled, totaling 48Tb in total storage space.
I run two servers (one on the Synology, one on a NUC-type Asus box) along with all my other systems.
Oh, and I have dual antenna tuners connected as well for live TV, DVR and playback.
This is also demonstrated well in the show Travelers with T.E.L.L.
Basically, a quantum AI from the future uses historical records to determine the time, elevation, latitude and longitude to send people back. Obviously the Earth itself is the reference point being used.
maybe a small park a 15 minute walk away
This is really dependent on where you live in the US. I just checked and the house I grew up in was within a 15 minute or less walk of 7 parks and 15 minutes isn’t really that far to walk. Especially in the US.
Honestly that quote sounds a lot like my childhood in Minnesota in the late 80s and early 90s.
Some of that might be rosy retrospection but I wonder how much this has changed in the US over the years.
I’m a 20 year round and also sleep with a fan on in the winter. Here the average temp during the coldest month of the winter is around -12°C.
Have an upvote because same.
I have around the house clothes (a t-shirt and gym shorts in summer, sweatpants in winter) that end up next to the bed at night.
Underwear goes in the hamper.
I’ve had to get up and go outside in the middle of the night before because of the dog and I either just thrown those clothes on sans underwear or wear the robe on a hook next to the bed.
While not balanced, this isn’t such a bad meal unless you assume it’s all as processed as it looks.
If it’s all homemade it wouldn’t be that hard to make any of these “healthy” in comparison to their store bought counterparts.
As for it being bad because it’s a “regular dinner for this imaginary person”, I’m guessing you’re unfamiliar with ARFID. I know of at least one person who has eaten like this for 40+ years and regular gets healthy results on his annual physical and tests.
Exactly! My drives are all sitting at about 40°C but they’ll get up to 50°C at the hottest.
I run a fan because I have it in a wall mounted case but when I had it on a shelf it wasn’t actively cooled and never got higher than it does now.
It is in our basement though and it’s only ever gotten to 27°C down there a few times and that was without A/C.
Which country will take America’s place when it falls? America is not the first and while history may not repeat, it often echoes and they won’t be the last.
This right here. The US was isolationist prior to WWII but then got attacked and drawn in to active war.
Since the mainland of US was untouched by war directly, and industry boomed post depression and during the war they came out of it better off than Europe, which had a lot of rebuilding to do.
As a result of the war and the need for defense they established bases all across the globe and for the last 80-90 years as the political system grew more corrupt the increase of American hegemony followed.
It might have been intended as a joke but I, and I’m sure thousands of other Minnesotans, don’t find it funny. It also serves to normalize the behavior of America’s wannabe despot and spreads misinformation to those who don’t know better.
Responding to a polite request with some variation of “It was just a joke” speaks volumes.
Intent is different from impact; we may intend a comment in one way, but it may be interpreted by others differently. Importantly: we are responsible for the impact, not just the intent, of our words and actions.
Please stop spreading this. He will be charged by the state which would require the Minnesota Pardon Board to vote to pardon him. That’s the Governor, the State AG and the Chief Justice of the state Supreme Court. 2/3 would be required to vote in favor of a pardon.
Fortunately Sinclair only has 1 station in Minnesota, WUCW, which is not one of the big ones where most people get their news (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX).
I think they’re dead last in news market share.
Will do!
