I do not believe that is the case. Mainly because of their questionable choices. Things like their great Firewall, which also censors political topics that the government does not approve or the perseution of certain ethnic groups. I don’t belive a majority of the people would want to do things like that.

The specific problem with both systems is that they are controlled by a central entity. Sounds harmless enough on a first glance. However, this also means that whoever owns/controls this system, can control a lot of people very effectively. This could be used for good but is instead mostly used to keep people in line.

This makes it easy for a single person/small group to control an entire nation, which I think is a bad thing.

I don’t think it is a delusion at all. But even if you think of it as a mental health issue. Wouldn’t it be more helpful to treat them in a way that makes them more comfortable? Just basic human decency. At least for me, I would feel uncomfortable or maybe even slightly offended when someone would treat me as a another gender, I don’t feel part of, especially if they know better. (Not LGBTQIA, so I can’t say much about that). EDIT: removed an accidentally offensive part entirely. Sorry :(

Nah, the topology is not suited for logistics. Also no infrastructure in the area.

Treat it like a name. You don’t need to learn all of them but when someone shares theirs with you, learn it and what it means or it’ll be very rude towards them. To put it into context, it would be like everyone would be called Joe and Mary, which would be very boring.
