Except only one of those systems depends on the exploitation of the working class, ya know, your breeding live stock. Only one of those system destroys a work life balance. But that’s ignoring certain aspects. If some blue collar fella had spent his free time and money fixing his dad’s old Camaro, a car dad bought for 4,000. Now it’s still well maintained, numbers matching, original paint, etc. now it’s worth 30,000, 40,000 maybe.

Parking fines based on vehicle value is going to penalize one person much more than the other. Fines should be based on income or total net worth, not the value of a particular piece of property.

I know one guy who went through this. He was one of the most insufferable, alpha-male, Tate/Rogan macho men, he-man woman hater… I knew of not one person that liked him, only a few could even tolerate him.
He suffered… suffered might be the wrong word, experienced an ego death on shrooms. I won’t say I liked him but he became calmer, he became someone you could talk to. He became someone others CHOSE to socialize with, they invited him out.
The transformation in this guy’s personality was amazing. I don’t know that his social or political views changed, but he absolutely did.

Now, I’ve read that horses were native to the Asian continent and migrated elsewhere, eventually to the Americas. However, I was at the San Diego Natural History museum last night and they had a display that claims the opposite, that horses are native to then migrated out of the Americas.
*37 seconds of Wikipedia browsing did teach me that native horses went extinct in North America about 8,000 years ago, then were later reintroduced.
