- The devices operate on line of sight. In an urban environment, this is hampered by buildings are trees but, enough highly placed relays help.
- The GPS will auto acquire if so configured but I’m not sure what you mean about the topology. Unless you are running a device that containers a screen and map program configured to interpret the data, it isn’t a feature of the device itself.
- Text only. This is a low bandwidth connection only good for a small kilobyte sized package. The devices can use MQTT to feed environment monitor information. These are intended to be a robust but not quick communication protocol. This can be “upped” slightly depending on your settings for LoRA.
